Poised on the road between East and West, Michel Gentils leads us away from the beaten track. Shyamal Maîtra has his own story. Percussionist and composer, he left Calcutta (now Kolkata) to travel the world. He has played with many of the greats, from Pierre Boulez to Ravi Shankar.
Together, the Gentils-Maîtra duo invites us to enjoy a rare feast of sound from equally rare instruments.
